Grateful for a Job

I have a job! While I wasn't actually unemployed for that long, it seemed like decades. I am now working at PMA Media Group in Provo as a copywriter. PMA does mostly internet marketing and so far I have been writing Web site content. I'm also doing an internship (just a few hours a week) at Leadgenix, also in Provo. I am learning some SEO (search engine optimization) stuff which it turns out I love. Before now I only knew the basics, but learning all the ins and outs has been cool...yes, I am a nerd. I'm also still doing a few things for my dad's business: Civicus Consulting Group.

I am once again busy. That's one thing this job search has taught me: I need to stay busy to keep from going insane. The first few days it was great to not have any responsibilities, but that got old fast. I love to be in the middle of all the action and doing something. I guess I need to feel like I am making a difference and accomplishing something every day. It's good to be working again. I have never been so grateful to get up early for work in my life.
